What is WWS?
WWS stands for World.Wide.Sims, an active and evolving sim community which offers shows, sales, auctions, and advertising for the all-sim world. WWS has been open and active since May 2009, almost a full year now - we are not going anywhere, and as you can see, we are expanding to offer even MORE to the all-sim community.
Is it active? How many members does WWS have?
Yes, we are VERY active. Our enthusiastic Moderators work together to keep the shows running smoothly and get results out on time. There are about twenty-five simmers who log on at least once every month or so, and at least ten of those are online a few times per month. Of course, like any all-sim board or sim-horse-game, we have our little group of regulars who haunt the board almost every day.
What exactly does WWS offer?
WWS boasts several all-sim breed clubs and discipline-based clubs, which are active and competitive. All the clubs offer a Point System of their own, and many shows are available each month.
The All-Sim Appaloosa Horse Club (ASApHC) has been active and growing steadily since May 2009. Competition is fierce these days and many horses are climbing the Known Titled Horses list each month.
The All-Sim Working Cow Horse Association (ASWCHA) is relatively new to the WWS board but has proven to a HUGE hit with simmers who own and show any reined cow horses in the all-sim world (Reining/Cutting/Roping).
The All-Sim Quarter Horse Registry (ASQHR) is now open, and caters to Quarter Horses & Quarter Ponies. Everyone is welcome to join us in the monthly shows. A huge condition-free auction planned for April!
The All-Sim Versatile Ranch Horse Registry (ASVRHR) is now open, and caters to all stock breeds, plus. This club is only open to horses aged 7+, and we offer two different caegories for your ranch horses to choose from. Join us in the monthly shows to win money prizes and club points. For the elite working ranch horse.
The All-Sim Paint Registry (ASPR) is now open, and caters to Paint horses only. Everyone is welcome to join us in the monthly shows. A huge condition-free auction planned for April!
The Hawk Ridge Show Arena is open to anyone who wishes to host a show. Many different events are held each month, open to anyone in the all-sim community.
WWS also offers periodic condition-free sales, open auctions, want ads, breeding ads, and active-member site advertising, as well as contests and games, Equine Evaluations for members, and Horse of the Month nominations/voting.
What does the future hold for WWS?
There is currently some discussion between members of the WWS board about opening at least one more breed registry and an additional discipline-based club this month. The Administrators of the WWS board would like to see the clubs maxed out at six, which means that we currently have space for one more club. If you'd like to propose an idea to the Admin, please contact ASAP.
Thank you for reading, and we hope to see you there!
